Overview
David has strategically positioned himself on the line between forward thinking business strategies and progressive architecture for the creation of innovative projects.  With over 25 years of professional experience, David has worked internationally on numerous complex projects with a base of London, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

From 1999-2003, he was a member of the Pritzker Prize winning office of Zaha Hadid Architects in London, where he focused on the design/construction of various signature museums and masterplans, most notably, the Phaeno Science Museum, Wolfsburg, Germany and the Strasbourg Tram Terminus Hoenheim-Nord, France.  He has also worked in Real Estate Development as a member of the Hines Interests Executive office in New York City.

David has also leveraged his skills towards numerous exciting socially oriented projects in sub-Saharan Africa. These include master planning and design collaboration for a Peace Archive, Museum and Memorial in Kitgum, Uganda with the U.N and USAID; Madonna’s Raising Malawi Academy for Girl’s; and the Sleuk Rith Institute, a Documentation Center, Human Rights Law School, and Museum in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

David has offered advisory services to non-profit entities and private clients alike on topics of environmental sustainability, design, project management, and capital project fundraising.  Since 1998, David has also served as a senior committee member of the “Berkeley Prize”, an international endowment established to promote architecture as social art though research, writing, and criticism.

David, along with the Gotham Organization, Inc., has co-developed The Ashland, a 53 story mixed-use tower consisting of 586 mixed-income residential units (50/30/20), the Gotham Market, and Cultural Office spaces all within Booklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Cultural District.  www.theashlandbk.com/
